Vent Extruder

The cold feed rubicon vent extruder is mainly used to produce non porous profiles and hoses. Therefore the extruder is equipped with a special designed screw and a degassing cylinder with vacuum pump to remove the volatile matters from the rubber compound. This makes vulcanization under atmospheric pressure like salt bath, microwave and hot air tunnel possible. A very constant output also at high back pressures is characteristic of this extruder.
