Extruder gear pump combination

 

Rubber gear pumps in combination with cold feed extruders for manufacturing of extrudates with highest demands on product dimension accuracy and process stability. The gear pump is arranged between the extruder and the extruder head. The extruder feeds the gear pump with a low inlet pressure. The gear pump builds up the compound pressure in order to overcome the resistance of the extrusion die.

Technical features:

  • Gear speed infinitely variable speed adjustment,

  • thyristor controlled DC motor

  • self cleaning double helical gears,

  • bedding of the shafts outside of the pressure chamber in roll bearings

  • controlling and regulating of screw

  • and gear speed in dependence on the pressures measured in inlet- and outlet sections of the pump by means of PLC

  • temperature regulation of the housing and the gears

  • SPC with touch screen
