The new shock tunnel with radiator temperatures over
2000°C is very powerful. The tunnel is for pre-vulcanization of
profiles and hoses. Arranged between continuous vulcanization and
extruder, the infrared radiation generates high power density,
hardness increase, dimension stability and better smoothness of
profile surface.
An adjustment corresponding to extrudate cross
section can be realized with the help of cover flaps and supporting
rolls. The working height can be easy changed by a hydraulic pump.
The system is also suited for shock vulcanization of
rubber profiles and rubber hoses. Moreover it can be combined with
rubicon microwave ovens and hot air vulcanization lines.
